which is better and why?
looking for first health insurance in my name im 18 and my fiance is also 18 we have a 17 month old son and looking to get us all some good insurance for the basic gyno, pediatrician visits, prescriptions, dental, the usual. and more for accidents
im pretty clueless ive been researching for a few hours now though and ive seen ALOT of good words about aetna and i also seen that companion life is the best bang for your buck. but im not sure which is more dependable and money isnt everything, ill pay an extra 100 a month to have awsome insurance then pay less and have them go back on their words or leave me with a bill i shouldnt pay, or any troubles at all

Resolved Question: To those of you who oppose health care reform with a vengeance…?
Can you tell me what ‘freedoms’ or ‘rights’ you may have lost under this bill?
What it has taken away from you on a personal or financial level as of this minute?
Did you lose your citizenship status? Did the United States suddenly change its name to “United Soviet Socialist Republic” overnight?
Are we now a part of Communist China? North Korea?
If it hasn’t, what are you deathly afraid of?
Progress? Change? Living in the 21st century instead of the 19th?
Because what I see is this:
You either make too much money or not enough, and yet you *complain* that having health care reform and having to pay for coverage will just make things *worse*!
Worse for *who*…?
Worse for those whom spent themselves into debt trying to live the high life? Or those of us whom can’t budget responsibly and want everyone else to support them out of habit or blind sympathy?
If you believe that buying an expensive car, and expensive house, and all the fancy materialistic garbage that clutters and fills your place of residence is more *important* to you than having affordable health care, then why should you be the first in the line to *complain*?
After all, you don’t *care*. You simply want the money for yourself to do whatever you damn well please!
It’s not *you* that we are worried about…
But that’s not a loss of freedoms or rights. When the government proposes legislation that allows them to spy on you without just cause, wiretaps your phones, bugs your computers, and searches your premises without the proper warrants…?
*That* is a loss of rights and freedoms! That is fascism!
When the government goes against the people for the sake of weeding out whatever “enemy” they think is hiding amongst us, then we have a serious problem that should be openly addressed.
But when the government comes along to address an issue that has been plaguing this country for decades…?
It’s not evil. It’s not intruding on your privacy, it’s not telling you what to do and how to live, and it certainly is not robbing anyone of their Constitutional rights!
What it is doing is getting the people organized and on a plan to better health and affordability.
Why would you be against being more healthy and having an affordable insurance plan that offers better coverage than what you have before?
For those of us whom can’t live within our means, it’s going to be a hellish nightmare come to life–including those corporate businesses whom now have to start *paying* more coverage for their work forces.
Oh, yes, they are going to go on about how it may bankrupt their precious bottom lines, sap a tenth of their overall profit margins every year, but those of us whom work for these types are going to be a little more secure in the knowledge that Big Business is finally getting put on notice and on the path to greater responsibility for their people; instead of being financially reckless and arrogant.
For those of us whom need this kind of reform, we’re going to be very happy.
We are going to have what we dreamed out!
And while the legislation and its ‘fixer-bill’ companion isn’t perfect, it is the right step towards equality for all.
Better health care, lower costs, less waiting in the emergency rooms, and no more lapses in coverage or ‘droppings’–because we are either sick or have become sick.

Resolved Question: I am looking for either a Female Golden Retriever, Golden Yellow Lab or a cross between the two.?
OK where to begin. My doctor/s have given me a prescription for a Dog to help me with my PTSD, and Chronic depression. I think it is safe to say I have been through the ringer. I really do not like to talk about it and avoid the questions I get from others once they find out what I did when I worked for the government. Reoccurring nightmares, Cold Sweats and more meds than a frickin pharmacy. I love dogs and it seems like its the only time I feel normal. I have been through just about every “program” from Pets for Vets to CCI (Canine Companions for independence). From there I went to shelters and there I found one dog that I just fell in love with. He was a Black Lab/Pit Bull cross (though I could never see the pit in him personality wise or physicaly). 2 Weeks later he stopped drinking water and after a week later and $1200 worth of vet visits I found out he had Chronic Severe pancreatitis. He died a week later. A local small animal rescue heard about my situation (how I have no idea) and offered to help find me a healthy dog. After about a month a searching we found a pure breed Black Lab he is 18 months and has a great disposition. Now with my Dr.’s prescription it qualified me to have most of the costs of the dog icluding vet bills insurance, a small stipend for food and about 20 dollars for incidentals such as chew bones, Kennels and brushes. Anyhow, part of the deal with me is that I need to find a dog that’s in good health and is expected to stay that way and is no older than 3/half years old. No aggressive pure breeds such as Rottweilers , Pit Bulls Doberman etc… Now each dog I get I have a 25 day period to find out if the would be dog is for me and that it is in good health. During that time if I find that I can a dog that has no pre existing conditions and fits in with my life style the state will reimburse me at the end of each fiscal year. Well with the dog I have now I thought I had a home run. Although it was not specifically the color or sex I was looking for he was defiantly in good health and his and my personality fit fairly well. A few bugs but I don’t need perfection. Well now I have had him for about 17 days and last night I discovered he is epileptic. F#@%! I am looking left and right but not much luck. I did find a breeder that offered me one of his pups but I would have to pay for shipping. There was no way I could pay that much. So now I have Thor (the dog that has epilepsy, and yesterday at about 9PM on March 17th 2010 somehow slipped out of his harness and got hit by a car sorry folks its hard not to laugh) as far as the injury’s he sustained part of hit little tail was cut up pretty bad and he got his bell rung pretty good other than that he is just fine not so much as a slight concusion, aside from his previous condition. Left one hell of a dent on the bumper of the car! (NOW THAT’S A HARD FRICKIN HEAD!!!). I am trying to keep it light but it is tearing me up inside. Look, I know that whoever you are you don’t know me and I know that this world owes us nothing, so I am not expecting a miracle. I am just hoping somewhere out there that there is a Dog out there for me. All my life I have wanted a Golden Retriever/Golden,Yellow Lab Hybrid. If I had not been injured in the line of duty I would be out there making this dream a reality. I am also hoping for a non spayed female so that I will not have to start looking again. I would maybe breed her twice at most keep one of the pups so I wont have to look again. Again I would be grateful for a healthy retriever, but I figure if I ask I just may receive. If my dream were to be realized I would pay it forward
for as long as I can. Thank you Sincerely
