i got an email from them after posting my resume online saying “We found your resume and are very impressed! We believe you have the qualifications we’re looking for to fill our open insurance agent position”
I have few questions before going further with this…
1. is this company well known? i’ve read its ranked fortune 501 company. is this good place to do my internship?
2. When they say insurance agent, what would i be doing exactly?

I was just recently offered to come in for a 3rd interview for this insurance company. Does anybody have any info on this place? I have a bad feeling the pay is based on commission. Does anybody know? Im nervous to change jobs with this recession. Any advice?
Resolved Question: Supplemental health insurance benefit taxable?
I have Conseco Supplemental Health Insurance, like cancer insurance, heart/stroke insurance and accidental injury insurance.
Are the benefits (money) paid directly to me from this treated as income?
My medical expenses for this year will be way above 7.5% of gross income after benefits are paid by my major medical insurance (Blue Shield). So I would need to do a deduction of my income.
However, I heard supplemental insurance benefits are like Life Insurance payment which are not treated as taxable income, so there is no need to declare the benefit as income. Of course, at the same time, I could not declare the premium paid by me to purchase the supplemental health insurance as an expense either. Please help.
