Resolved Question: I found this job about 9 years ago and love it..any other takers?
POSITION :
Mom, Mommy, Mama,Ma
Dad, Daddy, Dada, Pa,Pop
JOB DESCRIPTION :
Long term, team players needed, forchallenging, permanent work in an often chaotic environment. Candidates must possess excellent communication and organizational skills and be willing to work variable hours, which will include evenings and weekends and frequent 24 hour shifts on call. Extensive courier duties also required.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
The rest of your life. Must be willing to be hated, at least temporarily, until someone needs $5.Must be willing to bite tongue repeatedly. Also, must possess the physical stamina of a pack mule and be able to go from zero to 60 mph in three seconds flat in case, this time, the screams from the backyard are not someone just crying wolf. Must be willing to face stimulating technical challenges, such as small gadget repair, mysteriously sluggish toilets and stuck zippers. Must screen phone calls, maintain calendars and coordinate production of multiple homework projects.Must have ability to plan and organize social gatherings for clients of all ages and mental outlooks. Must be a willing to be indispensable one minute, an embarrassment the next. Must handle assembly and product safety testing of a half million cheap, plastic toys, and battery operated devices. Responsibilities also include floor maintenance and janitorial work throughout the facility.
POSSIBILITY FOR ADVANCEMENT & PROMOTION :
None. Your job is to remain in the same position for years, without complaining, constantly retraining and updating skills so that those in your charge can ultimately surpass you.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE :
None required unfortunately. On-the-job training offered on a continually exhausting basis.
WAGES AND COMPENSATION :
Get this! You pay them! Offering frequent raises and bonuses. A balloon payment is due when they turn 18 because of the assumption that college will help them become financially independent. When you die, you give them whatever is left. The oddest thing about this reverse-salary scheme is that you actually enjoy it and wish you could only do more.
BENEFITS :
While no health or dental insurance, no pension, no tuition reimbursement, no paid holidays and no stock options are offered; this job supplies limitless opportunities for personal growth, unconditional love, and free hugs and kisses for life if you play your cards right.
Resolved Question: Should I ask for more child support? My son is 12, and haven’t asked for more support since our final order?
that was eight or nine years ago and I was entitled to one three years after the final order ( a child support hearing).
to make a long story short…sort of, his Dad sees him when he wants but he lives 30-45 minutes away. So, he sees him about once a month or sometimes once every two months.
Well, his Dad promised me he would watch him this whole summer, but never told me he changed his mind.
My son is at an age when he really needs to get to know his Dad, plus he is too old for daycare and I don’t want to leave him at home.
Well school is out, and his dad won’t pick him up.
I told my husband if he did this to him and me then I would go for more child support, because I am always the one responsible for him.
His Dad and step-mom always tell me what I do wrong as a parent.
But when I try to include them on decisions they don’t want any say.
My son broke his arm, and after insurance paid their portion I owed $800, his Dad refused to pay half. I never ask him for insurance co-pays but I do want him to share major expenses like my son’s eyeglasses…which he has never helped pay either. He is ordered by the court to pay half….it is too expensive to take him to court over this, but I will bring it up to the judge if I go for more child support.
I have to admit, my reason for asking for more child support would be because I am mad because I feel he has failed as a father.
So, because he has failed in my opinion, should I ask for more in child support?
He is married to a woman that has three children and he spends a lot more time with them than his son.
Just FYI…this isn’t just about the money, I have a job and I have had the same job since my son’s dad and I split up.
It’s about responsibility.
