Open Question: Do you agree with Judge Nepolitano (a REAL Constitutional scholar) that Congress recognizes no limits?
on its power?

http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2009/11/06/judge-andrew-napolitano-health-care-freedom-congress/

Tomorrow, the House of Representatives will vote on a 2,000 page bill to give the federal government the power to micromanage the health care of every single American. The bill will no doubt pass. It will raise your taxes, steal your freedom, invade your privacy, and ration your health care. Even the Republicans have introduced their version of Obamacare Lite. It, too, if passed, will compel employers to provide coverage, bribe the states to change their court rules, and tell insurance companies whom to insure.

We do not have two political parties in this country, America. We have one party; called the Big Government Party. The Republican wing likes deficits, war, and assaults on civil liberties. The Democratic wing likes wealth transfer, taxes, and assaults on commercial liberties. Both parties like power; and neither is interested in your freedoms. Think about it. Government is the negation of freedom. Freedom is your power and ability to follow your own free will and your own conscience. The government wants you to follow the will of some faceless bureaucrat.

When I recently asked Congressman James Clyburn, the third ranking Democrat in the House, to tell me “Where in the Constitution the federal government is authorized to regulate everyone’s healthcare–, he replied that most of what Congress does is not authorized by the Constitution, but they do it anyway. There you have it. Congress recognizes no limits on its power. It doesn’t care about the Constitution, it doesn’t care about your inalienable rights, it doesn’t care about the liberties protected by the Bill of Rights, it doesn’t even read the laws it writes.

America, this is not an academic issue. If this health care bill becomes law, life as you have known it, freedom as you have exercised it, privacy as you have enjoyed it, will cease to be.
The Zeitgeist, I’m a libertarian and I didn’t vote for Bush either time. And yes I was, thanks.

Resolved Question: Want prosperity? Index ranks Finland as place to be?
Finland … Socialism

Finland =Health Option Insurance

SINGAPORE (Reuters Life!) – For those who value their freedom of expression as much as health, wealth, and prosperity, then Finland is the place to be, with an index ranking the Nordic nation the best in the world.

The 2009 Legatum Prosperity Index, published on Tuesday and compiled by the Legatum Institute, an independent policy, advocacy and advisory organization, ranked 104 countries which are home to 90 percent of the world’s population.

The index is based on a definition of prosperity that combines economic growth with the level of personal freedoms and democracy in a country as well as measures of happiness and quality of life.
The top 10 were all also Western nations, with Australia (6th place) and Canada (7th place) both beating the United States, ranked 9th. Britain came in at number 12.

In Asia, Japan was the region’s highest ranked country at number 16, followed by Hong Kong (18th place) and Singapore (23rd place) and Taiwan (24th place).

Resolved Question: America that Was, America that is, & America that will be?
America that our founding father set out to establish wasn’t a perfect land but it was a country with a lot of potential to be a great nation, a different nation. Over time and through sometimes painful and distructive ways we have evolved and grown into this dominate super power of the world today. We are a country that gives more to 3rd world country than we do taking care of our own hungry citizens. We are a country that trys to police the worlds actions in the name of our own security. We are a country that has enemies on every continent, We are a country that the world either secretly or privately would like to see fail. We are a country that is now diffined by our differences, not our commonalities that brought us together in beginning. Yes it is ok to be different in American, but that is not what should difine America, is should be and used to be that we were all different but we focused on what we had in common with each other, common veiws, beilfs, politics, etc. The America that will be is largly left in the hands of the executive branch. I have no doubt they will forever change the face of America, what that face will look like I am not yet certain of, be it for the better or worst. I think America will have another great attack on our soil as the efforts continue. I think special intrest in America have controlled the politicians for so long that they don’t look out after the Majority any more, & and that is why we are waking up to realize that this isn’t the world, the country, or government we ever wanted. The problem don’t lie with just 1 person, it is the entire system. We need less governement, more freedoms, and greater states rights. If the men from the mid 1800′s were here today they would be calling for another cival war!

Are you happy with the current status America holds in the world?
Are you happy with the current Government of America (From top to bottom)
Are you happy about watching the News (any News Station)
Are you happy about large government, less freedoms, and less states rights?

We as people are smart and industrious creatures, we don’t need big government looking out for our retirement, health care, etc. The government is the worst investment broker of all time, why would we trust them with our money? What have they ever turned a profit on, what branch is not broke, if the government was a company it would file for bankruptcy and be shut down.

It is simple you are all free americas, who can choice to do what ever you wish, my plan calls for common sense. You work and pay your bills, if you don’t want to wear your seat belt that is fine you don’t have to, but if you wreak and don’t have insurance you will not be treated. But I am giving that choice back to you! Because you are free to make your own choices. If you work your entire life and don’t save anything for retirement then you will get no help from the government, but at the same time the government won’t be taking money for social security to fund someone elses retirement either.

If you are legally able to purchase a firearm then you are legally able to carry it that is your Right, not a prevailage. Rights can not be given nor taken away with a law, laws are to protect rights.
