Open Question: Birla Sun Life – Flexi Life Line – Enhancer plan?
Hi,
I have a Birla Sun Life – Flexi Life Line 2006- To Age 100 Pay 15 – Enhancer ULIP with a life cover of 55 Lakhs. I took this policy when I was 25 years old.
Though this policy has guaranteed returns, the guaranteed returns are always less than the premium paid.
I want to know if I should continue with this policy. The insurance agent who duped me into buying this policy is no where to be found.
I have been paying into this ULIP since the past 4 years and the fund value is still -30% 
.
I do not need the 55 Lakh insurance. I never needed it. I was duped into believing that I need it.
If there is an expert who knows about this policy well, please advice me if I should continue with this policy or just exit in the next 1 or 2 years despite the losses.

Open Question: my insurance agent wants be my friend on facebook?
Hi, my insurance agent has sent me 2 request so far to be my friend on Facebook! I deleted her request once already, and a few weeks ago she sent me another request to be my friend again. I haven’t deleted her yet, but have not added her either. I am concerned. I don’t want to worry about any conflict of interest being her friend and all with ALL my insurance policy’s, especially my life insurance policy. what should I do? I talked to my sister boyfriend who is an insurance agent for the same company but in a different city, and he said he dosen’t see it a problem. ( but I still feel weary about it)… am I being paranoid? also if I don’t add her it will be weird to talk to her in the future if I have an insurance questions, or anything where I would need to talk to her. ( by the way i grew up in a very small town where everyone knows everyone kinda deal) so we we to the same high school, and she is on my sister face book page. I don’t live in the same small town as her, but my insurance is still in the small town( by the way huge insurance company, well known.) so sorry if I am rambling here… but I am confused…. I don’t want to jeopardize my polices by accepting her as a friend as I am not sure if it would be a conflict of interest to the company, and void my polices???? ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!

I wanted to ask a question regarding a ULIP I had bought 7 years back. The ULIP is Birla Sun Life Flexi Life Line 2004 – To Age 70 pay 15.
The current value of the ULIP is not even the amount I have invested in the last 7 years. Should I take partial with drawl from the ULIP and invest the money somewhere else? Or should I let the money invested in this ULIP. The ulip hasn’t performed well at all i think. Kindly advice.

my father had this birla sunlife policy in feb 2008 and he paid its 1st premium but after that hhe did not pay premium for 2009 and 2010 period and dreadfully he died in a road accident in june 2010 .so my quuestion to you is that do i get the full amount for policy or not, and if not then how much they will return me.annual premium was Rs11000 and my mother is the nominee in this policy.
i will be thankful for soon reply.
