Open Question: Universal Life? Pros and cons please?
I am not interested in agents to answer this question, i need real people with reasonable experiences and not commission-minded sales agents. No offense, I talk to a lot of agents and they all say the same thing. (no wonder why life insurance questions are categorized under “BUSINESS”)
Open Question: Is the government health care the right answer for America in 2009?
The health care providers have been doing a good job of giving health care, but at an outrageous cost. Insurances have been skirting covering things they should. And people in America have been getting poorer because large corporations (not just the pharmacutical and health care groups) have been selling us a bunch of overpriced garbage that does not last, and made for big profits with slave labor in China.
My family has been in the Doctor MD business for 55 years and they never made decent money UNTIL they started taking government health care plans, and they never accepted HMO’s. Sicko documentary shows this wage increase to the average medical workers also to be true.
But can the big corporations with their CEO’s getting $150 million annual bonuses, take their talons out of the necks of the American public so we can live a healthy life? Is it fair for everyone else to go poor and sick while these guys and their paid (majority republican) bureaucrats continue to get filthy rich?
I think Enron, HomeDepot, GM, Daimler, Citigroup, AIG, and others have proved to us that capitalism has run amuck, and government has to step in because our health should not be a “For profit” venture.
Illegal immigrants and healthcare are not an option for America when we are running $14+ trillion deficit. I am for charity and helping others, but we need the charity right now to get on our feet again.
FDA blocks natural, asian, or herbal remedies from being recognized as helping people so Big pharma can get rich off of a synthesized version of it that is sold for 20 times as much $$$. What a ripoff!!!
