Open Question: Is it easy to qualify for social security insurance?
I’m permanent disable by my doctor and in the process of trying to get social security disabilty will it be easy to qualify for it?
Open Question: Mitral Valve Prolapse? Can anyone help me with my question?
Ok long story short had thyroiditis about 2 years ago…recently had my thyroid blood panel checked and all are at normal levels.
Since I was diagnosis with TMJ years ago I have cut out any and every sweet, soda, fried or salty food in diet. I keep to fruits & veggies and very boil and bland salads and plain boiled chicken (not a very appetizing life but it keeps my thyroid issues as bay. I don’t drink tea, never had coffee in my life, I haven’t seen the inside of a McDonald’s in years and I ask this question because recently I have had heart palpitations come up for me days before my period & during my period.
I have cold hands and feet and on a occasion since I lost my job these palpitations have come on stronger been looking for a job for 2 years, don’t ask…. when I had the thryoiditis episode I lost close to 25lbs in 2 weeks time and have kept it off (thank the gods) but I keep a very strict tailored diet that doesn’t include snacks AT ALL. Not that I was piglet of an eater before all of this happened to me. I keep a food journal and maybe once in a blue moon I will sneak a half a vegan cupcake or maybe a small cup of unsalted roasted cashews (its the only peanuts I like LOL)
I just want to know when I do crave a sweet food like a cupcake or candy will I aggravate my symptoms of Mitral Valve Prolapse even worse just by having a small tiny portion of these types of desserts. I have been extremely good about keeping sweets fully away from me (for years now) but I am only human and I just feel like if I have a sliver of a cupcake, I go into tears that I am ruining my heart or something.
I don’t have health insurance but this doctor at a clinic told me to get an echocardiogram I don’t have hundreds dollars to take a test that may or may not show I have MVP but according to the literature I read online I know I have it.
Will beta blockers like Metoprolol curb these palpitations like I took before when I was diagnosis with my thyroid issues before (scared of any permanent side effects with this beta blocker not that I had any)?
Or will I end up taking antianxiety meds of which I refuse from another doctor because these types of meds change your moods and body chemistry (I havea friend on these types of meds lets just say I don’t recognize her as bubbly any more)?
I want to know will having the occasion sweet food aggravate or exacerbate my MVP symptoms?
My diet is bland and I just don’t know what else I could take other than maybe a baby aspirin to curb the palpitations before & during my period. I know this question looks insignificant to most of you but I have never had heart palpitation issues in my life in my 30′s (heck in my entire life till these past 2 or 3 years) and I am REALLY afraid that if I don’t get some answers that wishing this problem away isn’t really gonna work. I need to know what I am facing cause the literature I’ve read so far not helping me out any.
Any help or information is truly appreciated. Thank you so much.
Open Question: I have a serious medical question for any doctors med students nurses or medical experts?
I don’t have health insurance so I cant do to a doc. Im concerned about my pancreas i often get very cold hands feet and have low blood sugar symptoms im afraid i have to much insulin in my body at times.
I get tires fatigued my appetite goes south and feel very tired. One year ago i was losing weight like 18 pounds now im back and above normal weight im 5-9 athletic and 162 pounds was 141 pounds. I still get these symptoms bad blood flow to extremities i know that insulin constricts blood vessels. I have also noticed some undigested fat in stools but not always in fact not really since a year ago. Ok so i used to smoke tobacco and drink lots of beer and as a kid I loved sweet drinks and candy all of which damages the pancreas. I am now a health freak but feel my past has done permanent damage. am I a pre diabetic maybe cold tingling hands feet after meals fatigue no hunger feverish feeling but with no fever? This is all in waves or flare ups ill go for weeks with normal appetite good digestion healthy weight gain and good energy.
for the record I have been tested for diabetes my blood sugar was fine just a little low.

OMFG. The woman who just had octuplets already has 6 kids, ages 7, 6, 5, 3, and 2-year-old twins. She underwent fertility treatments. I find this irresponsible in the EXTREME, and wonder if she suffers the same kind of compulsion as those who hoard animals.
