Open Question: How can a person make the best career decision fast?
I know I want to work at home. I used to sell insurance at home & it spoiled me. I think my former employer needs a customer service rep. but I am not sure. This is better than sales cause I would have a steady income. I really messed up my life before by not having a steady income. I had to quite working with a sick family member & I was in debt which is the way a person starts out in auto home ins. sales cause they don’t get paid for their sales until the people are due for their policy to begin. Then there were computer problems I had so many things happen. OK, now I have to start over. …I don’t love insurance. I once worked at a friends specialty toy store & I would love to just take orders for a place like that but don’t know who is hiring for that. I love books & would love to talk to people ordering books & I have an idea as to who is hiring for that….I know if I call my past employer there is a chance he will hire me as a CSR for the insuance agency. I am kind of panicing because I need money fast. I would have to take a week long class & get lisenced which cost about $500 for the ins. work…..I don’t know what to do & have put this off for so long. How can I make this decision. My son told me to go get a local job. If I do that I will make such a little bit of money that I will end up in deeper trouble. Any clarity you can offer?

to see a doctor.i have problems with my heart and im having severe pains in places and cant walk well. i want to see a doctor but im scared to because my father has court ordered adult guardianship over me.i am 25 years old. but he went to court against me after threatening to kill me and he and his expensive lawyer lied about me and provided fake letters to court.
i couldnt defend myself because im physically sick and have no energy to go to court to fight and the court apointed lawyer does nothing to help. first of all im a normal young intelligent adult. i graduated from an iv league college and then became injured and then my father started beating me. and i couldnt get a job because of trouble walking. i dont require guardianship and i dont fit the criterea.
guardianship is for elderly dementia patients or mentally retarded adults or mentally incapacitated adults.
i havent talked to my father is years, he only screams at me and makes threats and says he wants to control me, he gets very violent and is mentally ill.he abused 5 girls.
i also raised my younger sister she just turned 18 before the court hearing and from when she was 16 to 18 i was her caretaker and no one else was around.
so why now at 25 did the court take my rights and give it to a sick person,my father is a 66 year old elderly mentally unstable man and a judge signed him to be a guardian. i want to get married and adopt children and i got turned down for all the jobs i applied for.
i also have no way to get food, i want to apply for food stamps but my father took my social security number and my birth certificate and non driver id and social security card. i have no id… hes preventing me from getting food i need or a job. i cant even collect unemplyment money
hes immobilizing me as much as possible and delaying my career.
i had a near death scare a few years ago and told me i should die and he hopes that. he tells me he wants to sell my organs to organ donation and make all medical decisions for me. he called up my doctor and told them i have diabetes. i ended up in the er and he found out and he called up the hospital and mis informed them and told them i have diabetes and lime disease and other diseases i dont have and he told them to retest me. and i am an adult. and they listened to him because he faxed the papers.
hes putting my health in danger. he also canceled my insurance and is taking my money and i go starving and dont have a coat. i cant get medicine when im sick or vitamins.
hes getting in the way,he offers me free rent in the family home but refuses to give me money for groceries to be delivered. i live alone in the family home and my parents moved out.
i am scared because i need to see a doctor for my heart problems and pain and trouble walking but im scared hell find out and get involved.
what if i get into a car accient and become onconsciouse and my fatehr finds out he can order a do not resusitate thing he can give out fake information and say i have diabetes. what if the doctor gives me insulin and i die because im unconsciouse.
im worried. if i need surgery and something goes wrong he will give fake stories to the doctor and try to get me sick.
i need someone to help me with this, my life is in danger.
please dont say call 911 i tried that and the cops wont help they dont take me seriousely since my father has court papers saying im mentally incompetent. im not mentally incomepetent.
and do not say call adult protective, they will put me into a group home so that my father can drug me, he likes to make up stories to drug me (he has munchausens by proxy disease)
