Amongst the happiest times of your life is as soon as you get engaged, he gets down on one knee and asks in the old fashioned way, maybe he hides your ring in your cake or maybe he pays to have “will you marry me” flashed on the sports board at the baseball game.

When you are engaged the business starts, organizing just about any wedding is really work. You must organize heaps of different things and stick with the budget that you and your husband to be agreed to. Even though you are perusing through the mounds of marriage magazines and booklets that vendors send you it is easy to consider nothing but good things.

It is however a distressing actuality of life that things do go wide of the mark. Everyone knows we need car insurance, we all require house insurance, of course we pray we do not ever have to use them but we have them just to be safe. Everyone knows the enormous prices of cars and homes and when you have to replace either one of them it is almost certainly going to hurt you, or possibly even wipe you out, financially.

Spend a few minutes to think of how much money you are laying out on your wedding ceremony. How much are you paying for flowers alone for your big day? What about the Rolls Royce you are renting for the day, and even the priest will be expensive.

It could seem like every person who gets in front of you in the run up to your wedding day requests money. You pay deposits and then they want the balance before the actual day and then you trust that the vendors will turn up and do a great job.

What if your food vendor gives all your wedding party food poisoning, what if the band leader drops his microphone stand on a guest from the stage? No one ever likes to consider how they will perhaps deal with the ensuing court case but the fact of life is should any of these awful things happen you will wish you had wedding liability insurance.

No one likes to think about wedding liability insurance but if you are spending thousands of dollars for your big day then certainly insuring it makes total sense?
